(wordy post ahead) I have sad news to share with you, so this post will be a little different. Priss is closing, forever tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12 pm slt. I was sad when I got the notice but wanted to do a dedication post. I like very many shops in sl, but when it comes to favorites, that list is very small. Anyway, Priss has been a shop that I usually always loved and wanted new releases from.

Exactly a year ago from today, I started to love the shop, which hasn’t changed at all. I really felt like this shop was always my style, and I will miss it. I hope that one day, Erin might create beautiful things once again, because her shop was always one of a kind to me. So until then, you can grab her latest releases before Culture Shock, for a mere 50L each until 12 pm slt Wednesday.

For years, I have been amazed with how some of my friends can wear the same skin for so long (at least a month) without changing it. I secretly envied them because they have a signature look (with wearing same skin + hair color). After some internal wrestling with myself over feeling bad for not promoting my own stuff and loving something that was not my creation, I accepted it for what it is. So I broke my record, and I finally understand the feeling of some of my friends. And it feels awesome!

There was a rez day sale at Tea Time, so I used that time to check out the store for the first time. It’s such a cute little store, and this jacket in this pattern really commanded my attention. Lucky for me, it also happened to be one of the items on sale! My only downfall with the shop is that there are no demos for mesh items. I am also trying out a lighter color as well. Just a little lighter though. It helped that this hair was free too!

I meant to shoot this yesterday, but my internet dropped so I am posting early today. Aside from that, I realized that I never really got a chance to talk about the eyes that I have been wearing recently. These eyes are amazing. They are mesh eyes, but they are far from just that! You can change the iris to be whatever color you want, same for pretty much most of the eyes. I am not good at explaining so please check out Strawberry Singh’s post, and try a demo for yourself. Her post, and more so her video made want to try the demo and just buy.

The other day, Hucci released a skirt (and a top too, but that’s not my focus here). I demoed the skirt and had to have it, it was very close to what I was looking for! Then I decided to wear it with a little twist, with using the dress/top from Jack Spoon at Culture Shock. This color is their donation item and can be worn as a dress or a top with the proper attachments.

Hi again! I decided to dress up again to show some more goodness from Culture Shock. Priss has an exclusive release of the beautiful dress that I am wearing in four colors there. However, the one that I am wearing is one of the donation items from Priss. To compliment it, I had the idea of using the necklace from undefined lilies also available at Culture Shock. Two of the eight colors are donation items. So I figured that there was no better time to use one of the super cute snap happy poses from estetica! and it comes with the phone as well. I can see myself doing the same pose if I had a phone like that haha.

This month is probably the most busy month in my year of existence. SO much is going on. I don’t think I will be able to let you know of all of the things going on. However, I will let you know of one thing going on: Culture Shock. Urbana is back with some new releases there, like this dress I am wearing. There is also a special version that is a donation item for the charity that Culture Shock benefits but the other two colors that this dress comes in is beautiful as well!

There is something else that I need to mention here though. The bag that I am wearing here, is beautiful but problematic. When I bought it, I thought that it was cute, and there was no demo. I figured that was alright since it states that it comes with two animations. Today, I found out that both bag animations, only work with your AO off, and also you can’t be using a pose either.  Just wanted to give a heads up. Sorry for length!

I have busy times ahead (finals), but since I noticed that today was my blog anniversary, I figured that I should make a post saying so. Nothing I am wearing is actually new, except for the earrings. I quickly added them in as a final touch. Anyway, so I have seen so many wear this hair, but I didn’t want to wear it until I had the pose, and outfit set to use it.

I just want to say some words of thanks. Thanks to the people that have been reading me from the beginning, some later, and even some more recent. All of you are appreciated, just know that. Hopefully this second year would be as awesome if not more than the first year has been for me.
